The smallest house in Vienna is located in the New building district at the intersection of Burggasse and Breite Gasse behind Vienna's Museumsquartier. The house was built in 1872 and bears the name "Zum goldenen Hirschen".
The dark green façade is a striking real eye-catcher when you pass by on streetcar line 49. The clock on the façade indicates what is inside the building - namely the Watchmaking business of the Schmollgruber familywho has been working in Vienna's smallest house since it was built.
At just under 14 m² can you see the many antique masterpieces of the art of clockmaking and gold jewelry.
What are you waiting for? A visit worthwhile is always worthwhile.
