Conditions of participation

The organizer of the competition is Wien mal anders (mal anders gmbh). The implementation of the competition is carried out by the organizer.
All natural persons over the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Participation in this competition is only possible in accordance with these conditions of participation. By registering in accordance with point 3 of these conditions of participation, the participant accepts these conditions of participation without restriction.
These competitions are offered:

The competition starts on 20.05.25 and ends on 08.06.25
The winners will be drawn on 08.06.2025. The winners will be notified immediately in writing by e-mail by no later than 12 noon on the day following the draw. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the address data provided.
Participation in the prize draw via prize draw clubs or other commercial service providers is excluded. Participants who are suspected of technical or other manipulation of the prize draw, who provide false or incomplete personal details or otherwise attempt to influence the prize draw in an unfair or dishonest manner may be excluded from participation. There is no entitlement to further entries; any entitlement to a prize already acquired expires.
Participation in the competition is not dependent on the purchase of products from the organizer.
The prize cannot be exchanged and cannot be paid out in cash. If an incorrect e-mail address is provided, there is no entitlement to the prize. The winner has no further claims.
The winner is permitted to give away their prize or pass it on to a third party. However, the winner is prohibited from reselling his/her prize to a third party (ticket agencies and internet auction houses). If the winner violates the aforementioned prohibition, the organizer is entitled to subsequently disallow and reclaim the prize. In such a case, the organizer is also entitled to exclude the participant from participating in future competitions.
If the winner does not accept the prize after the first notification, the claim to the prize expires. The next person entitled to win will automatically take their place. This also applies if an incorrect e-mail address is provided or the conditions of participation are breached.
The organizer reserves the right to suspend the competition in whole or in part if circumstances arise that jeopardize the integrity of the competition.
The organizer also reserves the right to change these conditions of participation without prior notice; this does not apply to the data protection regulations.
The organizer also reserves the right to cancel the prize for certain reasons (such as delivery difficulties or unavailability) and to exchange it for a prize of equal or greater value.
By submitting the online competition form, a competition contract is concluded between you and the organizer. This competition contract includes your chance to win one of the prizes specified by us in return for your consent to receive personalized newsletters by e-mail, including the analysis of newsletter and competition behavior.

We process the personal data provided by you on the basis of the above-mentioned competition contract concluded with you (reference is made to Section 10).
We process your e-mail address for the purpose of excluding multiple entries in accordance with these conditions of participation. This also applies if you have not confirmed your registration for the organizer newsletter via the registration link.
We will process your e-mail address, title and full name to determine and notify the winner. The data will be stored until the competition has been completed.
We process the personal data (e.g. name, telephone number, address) provided to us by you in the event of a win exclusively for the purpose of processing the prize. They will be deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law.
We process your email address, title and full name to send you the personalized newsletter by email. We analyse your newsletter and competition behaviour in order to optimize our personalized advertising measures. Further information on data processing in the context of sending newsletters by email can be found in our privacy policy. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
The data will only be passed on to service providers and cooperation partners contractually bound to data protection for technical or operational support within the scope of the stated purposes. Participation in the competition or its processing is not possible without providing the mandatory data requested.

You have the following rights as a data subject:
Right of withdrawal, right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to information, right to data portability, right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data or about the above-mentioned rights of data subjects, you can contact the above-mentioned controller.
Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the legal validity of the remaining provisions. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision.
Legal recourse is excluded.
