Are you looking for nice places to walk in Vienna? You are right here.

The Löwygrube park in the 10th district of Vienna invites you to exercise and is one of the most beautiful places in Vienna for walking. In the heart of the park there is a hill that you should definitely climb. The effort uphill is worth it, because the view from the top is overwhelming. Here you can let your gaze wander over Vienna, enjoy the peace and quiet and escape the hustle and bustle of the otherwise densely packed 10th district.

We especially recommend the Löwygrube to dog owners, because the dog zone is one of the most beautiful parks in Vienna! Not only can dogs let off steam in it, you can enjoy the best view over Vienna and let your souls dangle. The Löwygrube is a true jewel and worth a visit even if you are coming from further afield!

Insider tip: A not very well-known amusement park is only a few meters away from the Löwygrube. Here, in the Bohemian Prater, you will not only find "Prater - Feeling" off the beaten track but also the best Langos in Vienna.

The most beautiful parks in Vienna – this one is definitely one of them!

The Wienerberg Erholungsgebiet in the 10th district is definitely one of the most diverse parks in the city. Visitors can enjoy extensive walks in the huge green area, exercise in the hilly terrain or splash around in the bathing pond.

The pond on the Wienerberg is a popular place to cool off, especially in midsummer. But the Wienerberg is also a beautiful place in Vienna to go for a walk at any other time of the year. In spring and summer you can observe various bird species and in winter, with a bit of luck, the pond may even freeze over and you can enjoy the stillness of the frozen water.

Our tip is the forest children's playground, a magical place for families where children can discover nature. Here you can experience Vienna in a different way!

Experience the most amazing sides of nature in Vienna in a different way

The absolute highlight of the parks in Vienna is the cultural landscape of the Setagaya Park in Vienna's 19th district. The Japanese garden was laid out according to the Japanese model and lovingly cared for. We recommend a visit in spring, when the numerous exotic plants open their blossoms and you can enjoy their scent and the colorful play of colors. In this park in Vienna you can even admire the Japanese cherry blossom without having to get on a plane.

But so that you don't stand in front of closed gates, you should note the opening hours: In winter the park is closed from November to February, from March 1st it opens its doors from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., in April until 8 p.m , from May to August until 9 p.m. and from September to October only until 7 p.m.
